
PRESENTERS
CNFC contracts with mental health professionals (with a Masters-level degree or above) to present the Navigating Family Change seminar for parents, as well as the Navigating Family Change for Kids workshops. Below is a list of current presenters and their professional credentials.

- Diane C. Shearer, M.A.,LMFT, CFLE
Diane is CNFC's Executive Director and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Certified Family Life Educator. Diane is also a registered divorce mediator in Georgia. She has been facilitating parenting workshops for over ten years. Diane has a Masters degree in Family Sociology from Georgia State University and is author of the book "Solo Parenting: Raising Strong & Happy Families." - Carl Clymer, MSW
Carl has been a therapist for over 30 years and has instructed families going through a divorce for over 15 years. His candor and no-nonsense approach to parenting has helped thousands of families navigate through the divorce process. If you would like to talk to Carl, he prefers telephone over e-mail. - Morgan Kyle, Ph.D.
Morgan Kyle has a doctorate degree in clinical psychology from Indiana State University. He has been a practicing clinician for 30 years and specializes in child and adolescent therapy. Dr. Kyle has extensive experience as a parent coordinator and custody evaluator. His prior experience includes Executive Director of the Hub Counseling Center in Tucker, Georgia. He is currently in private practice in Snellville, Georgia.

- Ilia Jones, L.P.C.
Ilia is a graduate of the Georgia State University Department of Counseling and psychological Services Community Counseling program. Ilia has experience working with adolescents and families through her employment at SummitRidge Psychiatric Hospital. Ms. Jones is currently in private practice in the Duluth/Suwanee area, where she sees adolescents, adults, and couples. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor. Ilia is a native of Puerto Rico.

- Alex Navarrete
Alejandro “Alex” is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has a Master of Arts degree in Psychology, with a professional counseling specialty from Argosy University in Atlanta. He is originally from Lima, Peru, and currently works as a care manager for the National Health Management Association of Georgia and as the head facilitator for the Building Strong Families Program for the Latin American Association of Georgia. His previous work experience includes teaching at Stone Mountain High School, head counselor/school psychologist at Inmaculada School in Lima, Peru, and a family therapist at the Family Institute of Lima.
